Jan Cerna, The Maids in Ft. Lauderdale, Honored as Manager of the Year

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (PRWEB) May 29, 2019 - Jan Cerna was rewarded for his seven years of diligent work at The Maids in Ft. Lauderdale, by being named Manager of the Year at The Maids International’s annual Growth Summit in Omaha, Neb.

The Manager of the Year award recognizes a franchise manager who has gone above and beyond his or her job duties and stands out from the other managers of more than 170 franchise locations. Every year The Maids franchise owners from across the U.S. and Canada attend the national Growth Summit to participate in business sessions, share ideas with other franchisees, and recognize outstanding employees and franchise owners. Cerna was nominated by franchisee Al Madore, owner of The Maids in Ft. Lauderdale.

Cerna said he was extremely happy when he got the call he was being honored as Manager of the Year. “It was awesome. I’ve been with Al so many years and I work hard every day. I felt like my work was appreciated, and working hard pays off,” said Cerna.

Cerna understands the critical impacts employee relationships have on customer retention. Al and Jan have created an incredible office culture which is apparent with staff turnover well below the industry average. He has a quiet demeanor and leadership style, and is known for his courteous, respectful, fair, and professional manner. He fosters relationships at every opportunity with employees, as he knows they are key to customer satisfaction.
