Premier Early Learning School to Open this Summer in Parker

June 24, 2019 // Franchising.com // Parker, Colo. - Childrens Lighthouse Learning CentersSM, widely recognized as the leading values-based, early learning school in the United States, announced today that it has inked a franchise agreement with Elina and Ed Southwick to open a new location in Parker. The school is scheduled to open later this year and will be located at 11775 Tara Ln. in Parker.

The demand is growing for educational child care in the area, and more than ever, parents are putting a high priority on placing their children in an engaging environment where fun and learning come together. Children’s Lighthouse of Parker will fill that need. The learning school will offer high-quality early childhood education and child care that helps stimulate intellectual development in a safe, warm and welcoming environment designed to bring out the best in children.

“We’re excited and humbled by the opportunity to introduce families in the Parker community to the unique Children’s Lighthouse experience,” said Elina Southwick, owner of the new early learning school.

This is the first Children’s Lighthouse location for the entrepreneurial couple. The Southwicks have always wanted to start a business that allowed them to help others and make a difference in people’s lives. They had always struggled to find adequate childcare for their two sons, and when they found the opportunity to franchise with Children’s Lighthouse, it made perfect sense to open a Lighthouse in their community.

The Children’s Lighthouse building in Parker will span more than 11,200 square feet; the whole property is set on approximately two acres. The school will provide ample space for children to learn in classroom and group settings, while also offering large outdoor learning and play areas.

An on-site kitchen offers healthy meals and snacks daily for students. Children’s Lighthouse of Parker will serve families with children six weeks to 12 years old and will be able to accommodate more than 200 children. In addition to child care during traditional school hours, highly interactive after-school programs and summer camps will be available to children up to age 12.

Children’s Lighthouse early learning schools are safe and secure environments that give parents peace of mind with live view of classrooms, computerized building entry, security monitoring and transportation to and from area elementary schools.

With experienced educational childcare professionals guiding the company’s operations, Children’s Lighthouse has embedded its proprietary Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S.SM curriculum into its programming at all existing and upcoming schools. The integrated learning strategies of Lighthouse C.A.R.E.S.SM focus on students’ intellectual development, social and emotional growth, active learning through hands-on lessons and embedded content that emphasizes the fundamental basics of phonics, reading, math, science and social studies.

“Children’s Lighthouse will serve a very special need in our community. We will be providing parents a place where they can feel confident that their children are safe and secure, while developing lasting learning habits and priceless memories,” Elina added. “Our Lighthouse will offer individualized care in a loving and nurturing environment, providing parents with the utmost sense of security that their child is being cared for in the best way possible.”

Safety is a priority at Children’s Lighthouse. The school will feature security code-controlled door locking and computerized check-in, ensuring parents have peace of mind when dropping their child off. And, with Children's Lighthouse's private and secure monitoring connection, parents can even view their children from the comfort of their own home or office. Children’s Lighthouse also offers private and secure daily digital communication from your child’s teacher that includes photos and updates on your child’s day.

Children’s Lighthouse is on a rapid ascent to the top of the educational child care industry, and franchise investors are taking notice. Along with the forthcoming school in Parker, 30 new Childrens Lighthouse Learning CentersSM are in development or under construction, preparing to join the 50 that are already operating.

“We are growing into new areas with talented individuals such as Elina and Ed, who share our passion for community, nurturing care and education,” said Michael Brown, president of Childrens Lighthouse Learning CentersSM. “We couldn’t be happier about adding an early learning school in the Parker community and doing so with such dedicated and passionate entrepreneurs. It’s exciting to see Children’s Lighthouse continue to grow throughout the region.”

Launched 24 years ago, Children’s Lighthouse provides entrepreneurs with the opportunity to open in attractive metropolitan areas. Ownership in a Children’s Lighthouse franchise includes a full suite of support services, including site selection, financing guidance, construction administration and grand opening marketing best practices. Children’s Lighthouse’s initial and ongoing training and support is led by an experienced team of child care veterans, providing the franchise owner invaluable insight and leadership for the entire life of the franchise.
