Neighborly Announces Top Performers at Annual Conference

September 17, 2019 // Franchising.com // WACO, TX - Neighborly, one of the world’s largest parent companies of home service brands, recently held its annual conference in San Antonio, TX where franchisees nominated and awarded their top performers for significant accomplishments and contributions throughout the year.

Glass Doctor, Aire Serv, Rainbow International, Mr. Rooter Plumbing and Mr. Appliance, all recognized top award winners throughout the U.S. and Canada, including:

Glass Doctor

  • Franchisee of the Year, Ed Sieber, owner of Glass Doctor of Charlotte: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. The award is presented by each company to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has had a consistently high level of sales through quality, professional service.
  • Excellence in Leadership Award, Kevin Tennant, owner of Glass Doctor of Fairbanks: This award is presented by each company to the franchise owner who consistently sets an example for others within the system by conveying vision, participation and positive contribution to the network.
  • Service Professional of the Year, Zachary Hargrave, owner of Glass Doctor of Moore & Montgomery Counties: This award is presented by each company to the service professional who is nominated, in writing, by their franchise owner and selected by the Home Office Staff based on their performance during the award year. The service professional must have a history of consistent high sales and add-on percent. They also must demonstrate a high degree of technical expertise and customer satisfaction.

Aire Serv

  • Franchisee of the Year: Ray, Tina and Ryan Bramble, owners of Aire Serv of Bull Run, VA: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. The award is presented by each company to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has had a consistently high level of sales through quality and professional service.  
  • Excellence in Leadership: Vic Kerasmian, owner of Aire Serv of Pasadena, CA: This award is presented by each company to the franchise owner who consistently sets an example for others within the system by conveying vision, participation and positive contribution to the network.
  • Woman of the Year: Angi Rogers owner of Aire Serv of Fort Worth, TX: This award is presented to the women who have had the greatest contribution to the success of their franchise. The recipient is nominated, in writing, by the franchise owner and is then selected by the Home Office Staff. This award is to recognize the continuing efforts that strengthen and support the success of the franchise.

Rainbow International

  • Franchisee of the Year: Shea and Randy Ratzlaff, owners of Rainbow International of Saskatoon, Canada: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. The award is presented by each company to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has had a consistently high level of sales through quality, professional service.  
  • Service Professional of the Year: John Davis, Rainbow International of Athens, Georgia: This award is presented by each company to the service professional who is nominated, in writing, by their franchise owner and selected by the Home Office Staff based on their performance during the award year. The service professional must have a history of consistent high sales and add-on percent. They also must demonstrate a high degree of technical expertise and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellence in Leadership: Reed Mattingly, owner of Rainbow International of Columbia: This award is presented by each company to the franchise owner who consistently sets an example for others within the system by conveying vision, participation and positive contribution to the network.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing

  • Franchisee of the Year: Mike and Vesna Kolakovic, owners Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Mississauga, Canada: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. The award is presented by each company to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has had a consistently high level of sales through quality, professional service.  
  • Woman of the Year: Nazek Salem, owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Greater Cincinnati: This award is presented to the women who have had the greatest contribution to the success of their franchise. The recipient is nominated, in writing, by the franchise owner and is then selected by the Home Office Staff. This award is to recognize the continuing efforts that strengthen and support the success of the franchise.
  • Excellence in Mentoring: Trent Dawson, owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Mid-Ohio: This award is presented by each company to the franchise owner who is a model franchisee and is willing to positively impact others in a proactive manner.

Mr. Appliance

  • Franchisee of the Year: Andy and Heather Johnson, owner of Mr. Appliance of Memphis, TN: This award is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a franchisee. The award is presented by each company to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and management of their organization and has had a consistently high level of sales through quality and professional service.  
  • Excellence in Mentoring: Bob and Nita Tuck, owner of Mr. Appliance of Asheville, NC: This award is presented by each company to the franchise owner who is a model franchisee and is willing to positively impact others in a proactive manner.
  • President’s Choice Award: Charlie Goff, owner of Mr. Appliance of Austin, TX and Oklahoma City, OK: The President’s Choice award is one that is not given out every year. It’s a special recognition for the franchisee, or employee, who epitomizes who Mr. Appliance is, stands for the brands Code of Values and is a shining example of what every franchisee should strive to achieve.
  • Rookie of the Year: Allen Smith Jr., owner of Mr. Appliance of Merrillville, IN: This award is presented by each company to the franchisee who in their first 12 months has demonstrated outstanding performance in sales and building their organizations.
