Caring Transitions Franchise Announces 2019 Scholarship Winner

Caring Transitions’ is the nation’s leading decluttering, organizing, packing, moving, resettling, in-home estate sale and online auction, and estate-clearing company focused on seniors.

CINCINNATI (PRWEB) September 18, 2019 - Caring Transitions is pleased to announce the winner of the company’s first national scholarship - Jessica Oliveros, who will be attending DePaul University in January of 2020. The $1,000 scholarship was open to any student pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree at an accredited college or university.

Caring Transitions, a senior-focused relocation and estate-clearing franchise, offers decluttering, organizing, packing, moving, resettling, in-home estate sales and online auctions, estate clearing and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for managing the many aspects of a senior move or assisting with the process of downsizing to provide a safer living situation, as well as for busy families and people clearing out the home of a loved one who has moved into assisted care or passed away. All of Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so clients choose the solution that best fits their needs.

The essay topic for the Caring Transitions scholarship was: At Caring Transitions, we value our elders, their stories, and their legacy. We understand transitioning to a new home can be difficult. What is one transition that you had to go through (or are currently going through) that required effort and how did you get through it?

Oliveros’ scholarship essay described the transitions she and her family have faced and won over the Caring Transitions team with not only how she handled those transitions, but also how she’s using them to help others.

“Jessica has persevered through several layers of adversity with family health issues, natural disasters and moving away from home to college. Each transition had its own challenges and Jessica handled them with grace and the support of others. Now she’s focused on using her education to give back. She exemplifies our mission at Caring Transitions,” Caring Transitions President Ray Fabik said.

The Caring Transitions scholarship is one of five scholarships offered by Strategic Franchising Systems, Inc. this year. Strategic Franchising Systems, the overarching company for Caring Transitions, Fresh Coat Painters, TruBlue Total House Care, The Growth Coach and Pet Wants, has been creating and providing franchise business models to help people make their dreams come true for more than 30 years. The scholarship program was created to help the dreams of the next generation come true.

“Not a week goes by where I don’t hear a story about a Caring Transition owner who went the extra mile for a client or client’s family to make their transition not only smooth but special. It is in this spirit that we feel we can impact a college student in the same way who is also going through a significant life transition from home to college. We are pleased to able to offer Jessica this scholarship,” Fabik said.
