B.GOOD Announces Franchise Sales in Toronto

Farm-to-Table Franchise Re-establishes International Presence in Southeast Ontario

January 10, 2020 // Franchising.com // TORONTO - B.GOOD, the Boston-based fast-casual pioneer in great tasting, responsibly sourced fare, announced today a new franchisee has purchased three locations in the Toronto area.

The locations were purchased by Mani Gidda, a seasoned operator who brings extensive experience in not only the restaurant industry, but also finance and banking.

“Being able to provide Southeast Ontario with food that tastes great and they can feel good about eating is a win-win,” said Gidda. “I am impressed with the brand’s commitment to providing guests with food that inspires goodness, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for B.GOOD in the Toronto area.”

Gidda will work to further strengthen B.GOOD’s presence in the Toronto area and continue to spread the brand’s mission of inspiring goodness throughout the region.

Two of the locations are in Toronto, and the third is in nearby Oakville. The Toronto restaurants can be found at 75 Eglinton Avenue E and 573 Queen Street, respectively, and the Oakville restaurant is located at 487 Cornwall Road. Another Toronto location, not involved in the resale, can be found at 10 King Street East.

B.GOOD offers a diverse menu with something for everyone, from meals that are light and healthy to better-for-you spins on comfort classics. B.GOOD also offers an expansive kids menu, as well as take out and catering options. The chain adheres to clean food standards – the menu steers clear of artificial flavors, colors and preservatives – and aims to incorporate local ingredients as much as possible.

“At B.GOOD, we’re democratizing healthy eating by offering consumers wholesome ingredients and a diverse menu, where even our more indulgent menu items are ones they can feel good about,” said Ed Yancey, Vice President of Franchise Development for B.GOOD. “People shouldn’t feel bad about going out to eat, and B.GOOD is a breath of fresh air for people who want to know exactly what they are eating. We are thrilled re-establish ourselves in Toronto, and know that Mani is the right person to help us do so.”

B.GOOD is awarding franchise opportunities to experienced restaurant owners and operators with a strong desire to make a positive impact on their local communities with a unique farm-to-table concept. Ideally, franchisee prospects should not own a large network of franchise brands. Individuals should have a strong business acumen with the knowledge, experience and ability needed to develop restaurants.
