Junk King’s “Dump Truck” and “Lovestruck” Campaign Goes Head to Head to See if America is in Love or Broken Hearted

National Junk Removal Company Hosts Campaign for the Lovebirds and the Singles This Valentine’s Day

February 04, 2020 // Franchising.com // SAN FRANCISCO - Two trucks are hitting the road this Valentine’s Day, one for the couples who are heating up and one for those who are going down in flames.

Junk King, the nation’s leading junk removal company, is rallying men and women across the U.S. to toss any leftover relationships and heal their heartache once and for all. In anti-Valentine’s Day fashion, the company is hosting its third annual “Dump Truck” campaign by empowering people to throw their ex-lover’s forgotten belongings - from old photos, letters, corny gifts and more - into their trucks for free.

Vibrant red “Dump Trucks” will be making stops at businesses throughout the following cities on February 14: Chicago North, Cincinnati, Fresno, Reno, San Francisco and Seattle.

For those lucky in love who are moving in, upgrading or downsizing, they have a chance to win a free pickup from Junk King to help purge their things. To participate, couples need to share a photo of themselves along with their love story on Facebook using the hashtag #JKLOVEStruck and tag their participating Junk King location as well as Junk King Franchise. Official rules and regulations for the contest can be found here: https://bit.ly/2TSsnUy.

The contest will be running from February 1 to February 14 and the lovers in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver and San Francisco will have a chance at winning the “Lovestruck.”

“Every day we strive to ease people’s lives and Dump Truck as well as Lovestruck are representations of that,” said Michael Andreacchi, CEO of Junk King. “Whether you are heartbroken and need to get rid of the reminders or are ready to take the next step with your partner, we want this to be a way to lift the weight of all those unwanted items off your shoulders.”

As part of the brand’s year-round commitment to being environmentally conscious, any items tossed into the Dump Truck and picked up from the Lovestruck winners are taken to the large warehouse to facilitate managing and sorting of the materials. In fact, sixty percent of the junk collected from jobs is recycled, rather than being dropped at landfills. Through partnerships with local nonprofits and community organizations, the remaining items are donated and repurposed to benefit residents throughout United States.

On a national level, the company’s eco-friendly approach to junk removal is a major reason why businesses and homeowners alike choose Junk King. Customers also benefit from the brand’s state-of-the-art technology systems that facilitate scheduling a pick-up in real time. With the online booking system, all it takes is a few clicks and within a matter of minutes Junk King can be scheduled and the job can be completed.

Taken together, Junk King’s distinctive attributes separate it from its competitors, which are often characterized as unprofessional and unreliable. In fact, Junk King maintains the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS) for any service business in North America, a clear indication of the importance the company places on customer satisfaction.
