Handmade Soap Shop Opening in Jeffersonville

Buff City Soap continues rapid expansion by opening first Indiana store

August 20, 2020 // Franchising.com // Jeffersonville, IN. - Buff City Soap is gearing up to open its first Indiana location in Jeffersonville on Friday, August 21. The new store will be located in the new Jeffersonville Commons shopping center at 1005 Jeffersonville Commons Drive. The brand is known for its handmade bath and body products made fresh daily in-store by local soap artisans utilizing 100% plant-based ingredients.

“We are excited to bring our incredible, handmade soap products to the Jeffersonville and Indiana area,” stated Rick Kueber, franchise owner of Louisville Soap, LLC. “Buff City Soap provides a unique product unlike anything else in the industry, and we are looking forward to sharing our plant-based soaps, bath bombs, and other products with the residents of the Jeffersonville and Indiana communities.”

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

“Buff City Soap offers customers a magical shopping experience the minute you step inside our stores,” stated Kueber. “Our customers love being able to select specific ingredients they want to include in their soap, bath bomb, or other product. Providing them with that kind of customization is completely unique in the industry, and they always come back to our store talking about how incredible the soaps smell and feel.”

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole making process live in each Soap Makery, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

This is the third store opened by Louisville Soap, LLC in the last two months. The company recently opened stores in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and Hendersonville, Tennessee, and has plans for additional stores throughout the southern Indiana and Kentucky marketplace.

The new store hours are Monday - Friday 12 p.m. to 7 pm and Sunday 12 p.m. to 6 pm. Store manager, Sharon, and the Jeffersonville team are planning to host a grand opening event in the Fall of 2020.
