Bricks & Minifigs Franchise Assembles Brand for Future Success

LEGO® retail/resale franchise announces new logo as brand continues to adapt to Covid-19 retail landscape

August 28, 2020 // Franchising.com // Orem, Utah - Bricks & Minifigs - a rapidly expanding one-stop-shop franchise concept for all things LEGO® - has announced that it will be adding a new piece to its brand: a new logo. The logo update is part of a larger brand effort while continuing to adapt to the constantly shifting retail space brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“The retail industry is facing changes like it never has before, and brands that are able to adapt, will not only survive, but will also thrive,” stated Bricks & Minifigs CEO Ammon McNeff. “This new logo is a testament to the direction that Bricks & Minifigs is heading, while continuing to connect us to our roots. We are excited about this new step for Bricks & Minifigs, and are eager to continue providing our outstanding services and products under the new logo.”

The new logo design will provide Bricks & Minifigs with a more contemporary and legible logo. This new logo will more notably and distinctly distinguish the services and products that Bricks & Minifigs offers, while continuing to strengthen the brand’s association of being a retailer and reseller of LEGO® products.

In addition to changing the logo, Bricks & Minifigs has made several other adjustments during Covid-19. As the Covid-19 pandemic swept across the United States, Bricks & Minifigs locations adapted their hours of operation and developed new ways for how customers could continue shopping at the stores. Bricks & Minifigs was able to pivot to online ordering, curbside pick-up, and delivery, which allowed the local stores to continue providing their communities with access to fun LEGO® products that allowed kids to continue to learn and be creative.

Many Bricks & Minifigs franchisees were given the ability to make additional changes. These adaptations varied from utilizing Whatsapp to help improve the shopping experience of customers, to offering Facebook and Instagram Live builds on social channels, to providing customers with a private shopping experience so members could shop in-store while abiding by social distancing and capacity guidelines.

“There has been a lot of strain on the retail industry due to Covid-19,” said McNeff. “This presented a challenge to retailers of all kinds, but also an opportunity to showcase to consumers the strength of your concept. Bricks & Minifigs has risen to the occasion, and the new logo is symbolic of our brand’s ability to persevere in the face of adversity. We are grateful for all the hard work our corporate team and franchisees put in during this time, and are eager to continue moving forward.”

Bricks & Minifigs’ ability to adapt and persevere has positioned the brand for even further growth, exemplified by the brand’s recent opening of its newest location in Tucson. Despite the pandemic, the brand is still seeking partners in markets throughout the Southwest, as well as major cities across the country.
