October 02, 2020 // Franchising.com // Ashburn, VA - Woofie’s® Co-Founders and Co-Owners, Amy Reed and Leslie Barron, have been designated two of the top 50 “Women of Wonder” (WOW) in 2020 by Franchise Dictionary Magazine.

“Each year more and more women are making an impact in the franchise industry,” says Alesia Visconti, Publisher & CEO, Franchise Dictionary Magazine. “They are changing the landscape, implementing new initiatives and bringing groundbreaking ideas to the table. Franchise ownership changes lives and allows people to follow their dreams of business ownership. Our ‘50 Women of Wonder’ (WOW) are some of the most amazingly talented, strong and dynamic women franchisors in the franchise industry. We thank them and are thrilled to celebrate their contributions!”

Leslie Barron, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Woofie’s® says she and business partner, Amy Reed, are thrilled to be receiving this honor. “We are thrilled and honored to be included in this group of entrepreneurial, enterprising women. When we started Woofie’s® in 2004, we did it out of our love for pets and service to the community. Now, to be recognized as ‘Women of Wonder’ for the work that we love to do, is just icing on the cake.”
