HomeSmart Partners With Knock To Provide Homebuyers Seamless Purchasing Option

Home Swap™ Program Offers Non-Contingent Financing and Easier Way to Buy Before Selling

PHOENIX (PRWEB) October 26, 2020 - HomeSmart has partnered with Knock, a technology company that provides homeowners with a more certain and convenient way to buy the home they want.

The leading 100% brokerage continues to embark on partnerships with companies that make the real estate process easier for both the agent and consumer. When closing a deal as a Knock Certified Agent using the Home Swap program, the agent keeps 100% of their commission and can provide their clients peace of mind when putting in an offer on a new home.

“It can be stressful and time consuming to buy a new home while in the process of selling your old one, especially considering the state of today’s market,'' said Todd Sumney, HomeSmart International Chief Industry Officer. "The Knock Home Swap program allows people to move into a home while prepping their old one for sale, and they are still able to close at max value.”

HomeSmart is one of a limited number of brokerage companies partnering with Knock, giving HomeSmart agents in Phoenix, Arizona and Denver, Colorado an advantage in their markets. Agents can join a free training to become a Knock Certified Agent and offer the Home Swap program to their clients.

Two-thirds of buyers find themselves in a bind when trying to sell a property and acquire one simultaneously. The Home Swap program offers a non-contingent financing option that allows customers to move into a new home, repair and sell the previous property in a cost-effective and convenient manner.

Knock offers the consumer an interest-free loan of up to $25,000 to tackle maintenance and repairs in order to get the maximum price for their old property and to cover the cost of mortgage payments on the old house while listed for sale. Clients are able to work with an agent to determine the scope of work needed.

“Knock and HomeSmart share a commitment to leveraging technology to remove the barriers that keep people from purchasing the home of their dreams,” said Knock Co-Founder and CEO Sean Black. “We are excited to partner with HomeSmart in support of their mission to make the real estate process easier for both the consumer and the agent.”

When Knock was established in 2015, the company offered a Knock Home Trade-In program to consumers. In July 2020, they shifted their focus to partnering with brokerage firms like HomeSmart to make their services available to consumers.
