LunchboxWax Expands Footprint in Sin City

Entrepreneurial Couple Signs Multi-Unit Agreement For Two New Locations and One Salon Acquisition in the Nevada Market

December 03, 2020 // Franchising.com // BOISE, Idaho - LunchboxWax will open two more locations in Nevada state.

With plans to expand rapidly into the vibrant city of Las Vegas, the premier full-service, speed-waxing salon announced a multi-unit signed agreement and existing salon location acquisition with couple Amy and John Hansen. The second salon in Las Vegas is expected to open fall of 2021.

Amy first encountered the brand as a customer, frequently visiting the LunchboxWax location in Jacksonville. Amy came to love the brand’s empowering culture, caring staff and high-end experience. The couple decided to go into business together and when discussing their plan, LunchboxWax was top of mind.

“When John and I decided we wanted to go into business for ourselves, I knew that I wanted to work with LunchboxWax. The brand’s business model leaves room for total ownership over the salons which truly sets them apart,” said Amy Hansen, a technology sales specialist. “My husband and I are looking forward to expanding LunchboxWax in the Las Vegas market and bringing this unique waxing concept to more residents in the area. We are so grateful to have the support and guidance of the LunchboxWax team and are excited to open our locations.”

The forthcoming LunchboxWax salons will offer a full range of hair removal services from top to toes, bottoms to brows and cheeks to chest. Using its proprietary three-step speed-waxing process, LunchboxWax has a “soft wax” technique that is more effective and less painful than traditional waxing. As the local owners, the duo will be leading waxologist recruitment, prioritizing talented estheticians that are passionate about providing an unparalleled guest experience. They will also oversee daily business operations to ensure exceptional service.

“We are very happy to have John and Amy leading the charge as LunchboxWax continues breaking into Las Vegas. With Amy’s experience in sales and John’s military leadership background, this duo has the expertise to manage these salons successfully,” said Christo Demetriades, COO of LunchboxWax. “Our brand is designed to let franchisees have autonomy and truly own their salons. We make sure our team is there to support franchisees every step of the way. For entrepreneurs like the Hansen’s who are looking to diversify their portfolio and begin their journey in an industry that is growing rapidly, we are looking forward to seeing them lead the brand to continued success within the market.”
