Huntington Learning Center Honored by Training Magazine, Franchise Journal, Franchise Dictionary and Franchise Business Review

For Commitment to Its Employees, Franchisees, Partners and Students

ORADELL, N.J. - December 21, 2020 -(Newswire.com) - Despite a challenging year for education, Huntington Learning Center has continued to see growth and momentum across its approximately 300 nationwide centers. Most recently, Huntington was named to Training Magazine’s 2021 Training Top 100, an honor reserved for those companies demonstrating excellence in employer-sponsored training and development programs.

Additionally, Huntington Learning Center was named to Franchise Journal’s Top Brands of 2020 list, which honors brands that “stood by their franchisees, partners and team members to triumph through the pandemic,” was named a “Game Changer” by Franchise Dictionary, which lauded the company as a “Brand Making a Difference” in the face of the pandemic, and was included on Franchise Business Review’s list of the Top 9 Education Franchises in High Demand During the Pandemic. Huntington Learning Center continues to gain recognition and honors from national and local media outlets for the exceptional work it does towards fulfilling its mission to give every student the best education possible.

“The entire Huntington Learning Center team has worked incredibly hard to adapt our tried-and-true teaching methods to meet the changing needs of our families and students, and we are grateful to see our efforts being honored,” said Anne Huntington Sharma, President of Huntington Learning Center. “Without the strong processes, procedures and lines of communication we’ve developed with our franchisees, and the shared commitment across our entire Huntington community to give every student the best education possible, none of these accolades would have come to fruition.”

Since the pandemic began to sweep the nation in March, forcing schools and Huntington’s brick-and-mortar centers to close, Huntington has worked tirelessly to innovate and develop new offerings to help parents and students navigate the new normal and fight the COVID-19 learning slide. In a short time, Huntington launched Huntington Helps LIVE, its virtual, 1:1 tutoring and test prep platform, which has seen more than 325,000 sessions and nearly 500,000 hours of tutoring since launch, as well as Huntington Study Hall, where students can attend their virtual schools at an accredited Huntington Learning Center proctored by a certified teacher. This is in addition to launching Huntington Homework Help and Academic Performance Coach. All of these new programs add value to the personalized attention and proven results the company has seen for over 43 years. Huntington expanded its corporate partnerships on national, regional and local levels to help more businesses, including hospital and health care professional networks, provide their employees with the resources they need to support their children’s education while working from home or on the frontline.

“It’s been a tough year for all of us; yet, the future is bright because of the daily commitment of the Huntington team to fulfill our mission to give every student the best education possible and our vision of world-class student results and franchisee profitability,” continued Huntington Sharma. “With all the uncertainty in life, we are certain that Huntington can help build academic skills, confidence and motivation for students to succeed regardless of what the ‘classroom’ may look like.”
