Long Time Franchisee Power Couple Open Newest Location with Plans to Continue Expanding

January 26, 2021 // Franchising.com // Missouri - MassageLuXe, a fast-growing luxury spa franchise, congratulates Steve and Margo Allison on another spa location in Lake St. Louis, Missouri. The newest spa is located at 6105 Ronald Reagan Drive and is slated to be open to the public in early February. In total, the brand has 69 locations nationwide.

This is Steve and Margo’s sixth store location — they’ve been with the brand since 2010. Previously, Margo worked in the health and beauty industry for several years, and Steve owned multiple businesses. Together, they decided to combine their strengths and open a MassageLuXe franchise, suiting both of their passions.

“We liked the idea of owning a business that helps people look and feel their best,” said Margo. “The great thing about the MassageLuXe model is that people can’t believe how affordable the services are considering how great of an experience they have.”

In fact, the Allisons liked the idea so much, they’re actually Area Developers for the brand. The same way an HR rep may recruit a great candidate for a job, the Allisons are looking to recruit enthusiastic entrepreneurs to join their area. Currently, they’re looking to open three new locations in the Jefferson City and Springfield markets. The goal is to have these three new locations open in the next 24 months.

“This market has been good to us,” says Margo. “It’s a great opportunity for those who are looking to start their own business with the benefit of having great support and training. We’re excited to bring our services to more people in the central and southwest areas of Missouri.”

According to MassageLuXe CEO Mark Otter, the company has a goal to reach 250 locations in the next five years. “We’re thrilled to see Steve and Margo continue to develop in Missouri,” said Otter. “We knew when we met them that they’d be a great fit for MassageLuXe - I look forward to watching their continued success.”
