Rapidly expanding retail franchise opening in Springfield

February 26, 2021 // Franchising.com // Springfield, MO. - Buff City Soap is opening its first Missouri location in Springfield in early March. The new Soap Makery will be located at 2750 S Glenstone Avenue across from Battlefield Mall and plans to open the weekend of March 5. The Springfield location is part of a statewide expansion effort that will also bring Buff City Soap to the Greater St. Louis area.

Buff City Soap created a high-quality and eco-friendly alternative to commercial soap products many of which are full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole soap-making process live in each “Soap Makery”, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

“Buff City Soap will provide the Springfield area with a one-of-a-kind guest experience, which will keep customers coming back,” said Brittany Peterman, Director of Operations. “We know the people of southwestern Missouri will love our delightfully scented, plant-based, handmade bath and body products.”

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

“When people visit a Buff City Soap makery, they will see exactly how we create our products, which is something completely unique to Buff City Soap,” said Peterman, Director of Operations. “Not only do they enjoy being able to see their products made in-person, but they also love the customization that our process offers and they enjoy being able to create their own scents.”

The Springfield store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM.
