Keller Williams ONEChicago Welcomes Frank Martinez as Director of Multifamily Investments

Martinez has over 20 years’ experience in multifamily investments and shares ONEChicago’s dedication to client and industry advocacy

June 11, 2021 // Franchising.com // Today, Keller Williams ONEChicago ("ONEChicago"), a leading residential and commercial real estate company, announced that Frank Martinez has joined as its Director of Multifamily Investments. Martinez is a longtime real estate practitioner, volunteer, and national speaker, whose new role will focus on client relations and business development for ONEChicago’s Multifamily Investment Advisory Services.

“Frank is a forward-thinking leader and client advocate with an impressive track record as a broker and investor,” says Tony Hardy, ONEChicago’s Multifamily Division Executive Director. “From maximizing investor returns on market rate and affordable housing to identifying value-add opportunities, Frank leverages his industry knowledge to identify the best and most profitable solutions for multifamily investors. We are grateful to be in business with Frank and looking forward to the benefits our clients will receive from his leadership and expertise.”

Martinez has over 20 years of experience in real estate, and he joins ONEChicago after working as a top-producing Broker in Marcus & Millichap’s Multifamily Investments and Advisory division. Holding an Illinois Real Estate Managing Brokers license, Martinez specializes in middle-market investment opportunities for medium to large private clients and institutional owners. Most recently, Frank closed a six-building, 237-unit deal in Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. The deal traded for $17,050,000 (seventeen-million-fifty-thousand-dollars), the largest transaction by dollar volume and unit count in South Shore since the onset of the health pandemic.

“I am thrilled to be part of Keller Williams ONEChicago,” Martinez says. “Their commitment to the client experience, innovative technology solutions, and diversity in real estate directly aligns with my values, skillset, and interests. It was easy to choose ONEChicago as the next place for my career. I am excited to add value to multifamily investors throughout Chicagoland by leveraging KW Commercial’s global network of 180,000 sales professionals. It’s all about helping clients make the most informed investment decisions to exceed their goals.”

Martinez also has an extensive background in volunteerism. Past and present affiliations include Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Cuban American Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Association of REALTORS®, Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, and Roosevelt University Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, among others. Martinez is also the founder of the Latino Real Estate Investors Council and the Villa Verde Community Development Corp Not-For-Profit Affordable Housing. Outside of his advocacy in real estate, Martinez, a two-time conqueror of leukemia, serves on the executive board for the Leukemia Research Foundation.
“Frank is the perfect fit for our ONEChicago team,” Hardy says. “Each team member is deeply invested in the revitalization of Chicagoland communities, the growth of our investors, and diversity in the commercial real estate industry. Frank has a strong reputation for sharing these commitments, and as a result, he has helped make a difference in our city. We are looking forward to all Frank will continue to accomplish here at Keller Williams.”
