Modernization of Laundry Continues with New York Takeover of Nation’s 2nd Mr Jeff Laundry Hub in the Flatlands

U.S. Rollout Extends the Tech-Based Pickup & Delivery Laundry Service at Second Clean Rite Store

November 10, 2021 // Franchising.com // BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Mr Jeff, an international laundry service franchise infused with cutting edge technology, is set to open its second U.S. flagship hub inside an existing Clean Rite location at 8211 Flatlands Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236. Mr Jeff – which has already modernized the tedious task of laundry in more than 30 countries – provides customers with a new 24-hour express service wash and fold service and seamless home pickup and delivery mobile app-based services.

The addition of the Mr Jeff hub to the Flatlands Clean Rite location will transform the usual dreary task of laundry into a painless, convenient process. Existing self-service Clean Rite customers will now have the option to drop-off their dirty laundry and pick it up when it’s clean and folded, or they can choose not to leave their homes at all by using the simple app enabled pickup & delivery service.

The opening of the flagship Mr Jeff hub comes on the heels of an announcement in May 2021 that Mr Jeff had entered into a partnership with Clean Rite stores to operate inside select Clean Rite laundromats. Clean Rite is a laundry service superstore chain which has developed more than 200 locations across North America, mainly densely populated, urban areas.

Peter Stern, Managing Director of Mr Jeff’s U.S. Market and Former SVP of Laundry Capital and Managing Director of Clean Ventures (which is an investor in Mr Jeff), said the Flatlands store will be the second of three Clean Rites to launch tech-based Mr Jeff, following the first hub opening in Queens this past August.

“The laundry industry here in the United States was long overdue for innovation,” Stern said. “Mr Jeff’s technological business model will provide customers with additional conveniences to traditional laundry, including delivery and pick up services through the Mr Jeff app, wash and fold, wet and dry cleaning, ironing, pressing and monthly membership options.”
