Four Carolina Venture X Co-Working Locations Take Hospitality and Community Investment to a New Level

Dedicating Resources to a Talent Acquisition Technology Company

Venture X co-working communities in the Carolinas collaborate with local talent matching startup, Scoutr, putting regional hiring needs on a national platform

DURHAM, NC, January 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/- Tyler Evans, franchise owner of four Venture X co-working locations, had the insight to get ahead of community workforce challenges by partnering with locally owned and operated Scoutr, a talent matching platform, giving his Venture X community members access to state-of-the-art technology and advantages in filling positions for their growing businesses.

As media sources continue to report heavily on workforce shortages due to shifts in post pandemic value perceptions, record high new small business start-ups, and rising trends in job turnover rates, Venture X co-working communities benefit and continue to find ways to expand member benefits through grass-roots initiatives.

"Scoutr came to Venture X after trying multiple coworking locations in the area," mentions Evans. "They were having trouble finding the right environment for their start-up with the flexibility and support needed for their fast-growing team. They really needed someone to believe in their vision. We were able to work out a trial period that would give them both, the flexibility to grow and the support for their long-term vision. They were, and still are, extremely dedicated in their conviction of changing the way employers source candidates and how job-seekers find the right fit."

After six months at Venture X in Durham, Scoutr committed to a long-term contract and upgraded to a large team suite. They also worked with Evans to establish a formal collaboration, where his four Venture X locations would commit to rolling out the Scoutr platform across communities in Durham, NC - RTP; Charlotte, NC - The Refinery; Greenville, SC - Plush Mills; and Charleston, SC - Garco Mill, benefiting over 500 business members. Evans not only agreed, but also made a financial investment and committed internal resources to support their growth.

"This is an innovative, easy to use, high-tech upgrade from the conventional community job board, saving time and reducing turnover," states Evans. "The platform that Scoutr developed is cutting edge technology that connects candidates with employers through algorithms and streamlines the job sourcing process and they are locally owned and operated in Durham, NC, putting our community in the national spotlight."

"Scoutr has committed to a white-label Venture X platform for members to use as well as an exclusive Venture X members-only pricing structure," states Brandon Stevens, Scoutr Founder and CEO. "This is truly a community resource, signaling the next era in hiring."

"Since Venture X shared workspaces are locally owned and operated, it gives us the ability to come alongside our members and help them grow and scale their businesses in a unique way," concludes Evans.
