Good Oaks Home Care Salisbury Is Bringing 25 New Jobs To The Community

February 09, 2022 // Franchising.com // United Kingdom - Management have spent a sunny and cold winter morning meeting the community in Salisbury, as their care company Good Oaks announced plans to bring 25 new jobs to the area. Staff from Good Oaks Home Care Salisbury, based at Cross Keys House in the town, were out and about to meet people in their new community.

Friends Adam Downer, 35, and Sam Jones, 34, opened the new office late last year to help provide bespoke visiting and live-in care for the community. The friends met while working as carers and opened their first care franchise with Good Oaks Home Care in April last year in East Dorset. The demand for care was so great that they opened a second, Salisbury branch, six months later. The team are currently recruiting for 25 new jobs.

Co-founders Sam and Adam said they were proud to be part of the Wiltshire community and had been overwhelmed by the support shown by local people. They said: “Our carers have really been welcomed into the community. We have had so many calls from potential clients and their families interested in our live-in and visiting services that we have been busy recruiting 25 new carers to support us. We are proud to be bringing more jobs to the Salisbury economy.”

They added: “At Good Oaks our ethos is to provide the best possible care and help people to live healthy, happy and independent lives in the comfort of their own home for as long as possible. One of the things our carers help with is to aid clients to get out and about, to see friends, take part in activities or go shopping. Salisbury has so many beautiful locations and landmarks and our care team have really been enjoying people to get out for trips and visit - that’s what we do, help make life better for people. That’s the most rewarding part about the job.”
