Pizza Guys to Open Newest Location in Bakersfield

April 19, 2022 // Franchising.com // BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Pizza Guys is further expanding its California presence by opening its newest location in Bakersfield. This new location will be the first to be opened by local owners and husband-and-wife duo, Hittan Wadhawa and Ranjit Kaur. It will be located at 5601 California Ave. and is slated to open in late-April. The Bakersfield Pizza Guys location will be takeout and carryout only, with 3rd party delivery options also available.

Restauranters with over 5 years of hands-on industry experience, Wadhawa and Kaur became interested in the Pizza Guys franchising opportunity after seeing for themselves the high-quality products its menu had to offer. They then heard about opportunity and room to grow in the Bakersfield market, leading them to invest in a franchise of their own. The couple now looks to involve their new business in the Bakersfield community and help leave a lasting positive impact.

“I knew Pizza Guys was a brand I wanted to become involved with from the first time I tried their pizza products,” said Ranjit Kaur. “We are extremely excited to begin building relationships with local residents and create new lifelong customers of the Pizza Guys brand with our new location in Bakersfield.”

Pizza Guys has been able to maintain its growth and remain resilient during the peak of the pandemic even now, at its tail end. Its community-based approach and consistent opening of additional locations has provided those most affected by COVID-19 with employment opportunities and local donations.
