Buff City Soap Brings Plant-Based Products to Mohegan Lake

May 13, 2022 // Franchising.com // MOHEGAN LAKE, N.Y. - Buff City Soap will soon be opening its first location in Mohegan Lake. The new store will be located at 3144 E. Main St., and is slated to open on May 19.

To celebrate the occasion, Buff City Soap in Mohegan Lake will be hosting a Grand Opening Event on May 19 where the first 50 customers to visit the location will receive one free bar of soap every month for a year. A multitude of other promotions will be offered on that day including: 20% off any purchase, 30% off any purchase of $100 or more and buy one laundry soap, get one 50% off.

“Buff City Soap will make a wonderful addition to the Mohegan Lake community,” said brand representative, Kara Howson. “We can’t wait to begin impressing our local guests with the wide variety of customizable, plant-based products we have to offer and keep them coming back for more.”

Founded in 2013, Buff City Soap has created a high-quality alternative to commercial soap products full of harsh chemicals, detergents, animal fats, and sulfates. By giving customers the chance to see the whole making process live in each Soap Makery, Buff City Soap is disrupting the consumer goods industry by focusing on transparency of ingredients and process.

Each Buff City Soap store offers more than 30 unique and customizable scents across dozens of handcrafted soap products; including its famous soap bars, bath bombs, foaming hand soap, and even laundry soap. The brand’s products are crafted by local artisans at the in-store Makeries, which allow guests to customize the scent and ingredients used in the process to create a unique scent profile.

The Mohegan Lake store hours will be Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
