Sports Facility Hopes to Foster Sports Exploration

November 01, 2022 // Franchising.com // OAKDALE, Minn - Hi-Five Sports is thrilled to announce opening at 7057 10th St. N. in Oakdale. During the Grand Opening event on Oct. 29, the location will be offering a lot of great incentives such as, discounted rates, a raffle for a free birthday party and much more between 12pm-2pm. This new location will be home to a Hi-Five Sports Zone Concept, which will allow children to participate at the location’s facilities, making it more convenient for parents and their children.

Programming at Hi-Five Sports Zone facilities include:

Preschool team sports classes
K-5th grade sports leagues
Before & After School Sports Enrichment
Evening adult sports leagues & clinics
Physical Education outsourcing

“Our new Hi-Five Sports location will serve as a place for children to truly build and develop character,” said Jeffery Smith. “I’m ecstatic to begin helping children learn about team sports the ‘Hi-Five way.’ Here, they’ll be able to learn powerful life lessons and foster personal growth that will stick with them the rest of their lives. Through our new location, we aim to continue boosting children’s confidence and ambition, while encouraging friendly competition through the art of team sports.”

Smith is a University of Michigan alum and has recently retired from the corporate world after a 20-year career working as an accountant and financial executive at several Fortune 500 companies in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Smith has also served as a youth sports coach, where he had the privilege of coaching both of his sons in a variety of different sports in which they’ve gone on to win numerous awards. Smith wanted to do something wholesome that would combine both his passion for sports and youth development, which led him to pursue the Hi-Five Sports franchise opportunity.

“We are thrilled to be introducing a new Hi-Five Sports location to the Oakdale area,” said Ryan Tuchman, CEO of Hi-Five Sports. “We hope to really connect with the youth in the community and give them a new alternative for after school activities. We’re excited to share our facilities with all children and teach them some great core values in the process.”

Hi-Five Sports provides children ages 3 – 14 years old with a multitude of innovative and engaging sports programs that encourage teamwork, respect, and leadership. The brand was founded in 1990 by Marv Tuchman in the Chicagoland area. Ryan Tuchman, decided to leave his successful corporate career in 2006 and work with his father and brother, Danny, to develop a year-round team sports programming. After launching successful corporate locations in AZ and CA Ryan founded Hi-Five Sports Franchising in late 2015.
