Handyman Connection Expands its Colorado Footprint

January 17, 2023 // Franchising.com // BLUE ASH, Ohio - Handyman Connection is happy to announce the opening of two new locally owned Colorado locations. These new Centennial State locations are now open for business in the following markets:

  • Parker, Colo. - Owned and operated by local owner, Mike German.
  • Brighton, Colo. - Owned and operated by local husband-and-wife duo, Shane and Cynthia Cowan.

Introducing the Handyman Connection concept to his home community for the first time, Mike German, looks forward to using his new business to further involve himself in the Parker, Colo. chamber of commerce and other local organizations.

“We are impressed with the warm welcome our new business has received from the residents of Parker so far,” said German. “We’ve found there’s no greater fulfillment than providing a little home improvement help to those who need it most in our local community.”

New franchisees, Shane and Cynthia Cowan were both raised in the Colorado communities surrounding their new Handyman Connection business in Brighton. Having worked previously as a senior project superintendent for a Denver contractor responsible for building some of the most recognizable construction projects throughout city, Shane Cowan discussed Handyman Connection’s franchising opportunity with wife and business partner, Cynthia, before working together to bring the concept to Brighton.

“With a full career already under my belt, I’ve lived the commercial side of the construction industry and look at our new Handyman Connection business with fresh eyes,” said Shane Cowan. “I simply wanted to get back to helping people again. Cynthia and I now hope to utilize Handyman Connection in Brighton as a positive force for our community.
