Metal Supermarkets Signs Franchise Agreement to Introduce Windsor to Speed, Variety & Convenience for Small-Quantity Metals

Supplier of Small-Quantity Metals Inks Deal with Local Entrepreneur to Open in Windsor

February 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // WINDSOR, Ont. – Metal Supermarkets will soon make its way to Windsor, Ontario.

Metal Supermarkets announced today that it has signed a franchise agreement to bring a fast and convenient metal supply option to businesses and consumers in Windsor.

The 13th location in Ontario, Metal Supermarkets Windsor will offer over 8,000 types, shapes and grades of metal, cut to each customer’s exact specifications. Along with its convenience, speed and commitment to customer service, Metal Supermarkets will be the one-stop-shop for manufacturers, machinists, maintenance and repair, tool and die shops, hospitals, hotels, universities, schools, homeowners, artists, hobbyists and more in Windsor.

“I’ve been looking to start my own business for the last six years, and when I came across Metal Supermarkets, a light turned on,” said Tom Kaschalk, owner of Metal Supermarkets Windsor. “I started speaking with other franchisees in the system and everyone commented on the outstanding support from the corporate team, which is what sold me on the brand. I’m thrilled to open Metal Supermarkets in Windsor and look forward to helping people in the community with all of their metal needs.”

Prior to joining Metal Supermarkets, Kaschalk worked in industrial and manufacturing sales for 28 years, holding roles from account manager to vice president of sales on large and small accounts. He is also highly involved in the Windsor community, volunteering with various minor sports leagues and sitting on boards of multiple community organizations. Kaschalk’s professional experience and connection to the community highlight his passion for building relationships and supporting the community, which includes area businesses and consumers that will benefit from a Metal Supermarkets store in Windsor.
