Pizza Factory Adds to West Coast Footprint with Signed Agreement in Washington

The Beloved Pizza Concept Starts 2023 off Strong Alongside New Franchisees

March 16, 2023 // Franchising.com // WASHINGTON – Pizza Factory enters the new year on a high note, announcing a recent signed agreement to open a new location in Washington. The upcoming restaurant will be an Express model, and the brand’s 12th location in the state.

The new location will be owned by Jatin Patel and Jyoti Bhatta. The business partners are joining Pizza Factory as new franchisees, and aim to open their location in the summer. Fueled by their desire to invest in the food industry, Patel and Bhatta were drawn to Pizza Factory for its fresh, quality products that they have enjoyed as customers for many years.

“Pizza Factory has been a part of our lives for years,” said Patel. “We’ve bonded over our love for the pizza in the past, and when we were looking for investment opportunities in the restaurant industry, Pizza Factory was the clear choice. Not only is the food delicious, but the corporate support has been incredible.”

Patel and Bhatta have impressive experience as software professionals, leading exciting developments in the industry. Now, as the duo expands their portfolios with Pizza Factory, Patel and Jyoti are eager to open their first location, and plan to open additional Pizza Factory restaurants in more communities down the line.

“As newcomers to franchising, Jatin and I especially value the open line of communication between corporate and the franchisees, and we’re happy to be investing in a proven concept lead by an all-star team,” added Bhatta.

From multiple fast-casual prototypes to a new Express quick-service model, Pizza Factory maintains its reputation for family-friendly dining and high-quality products. The brand specializes in its vast menu offerings, serving fresh, never frozen hand-tossed pizza, pasta, wings, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine and more. As Pizza Factory continues to develop into new markets, the brand is providing multi-unit operators flexible new-build or conversion options with delivery / curbside and traditional dine-in prototypes ranging from 1,000 – 4,000 sq. ft. The largest option typically features multiple dining sections, an arcade area for the kids, banquet rooms for parties and social gatherings and big-screen TVs throughout the restaurant.

“After a few decades in business, we know exactly what our franchisees need to succeed,” said MJ Riva, CEO of Pizza Factory. “A significant portion of our model’s growth has been achieved through our strong bonds with our franchisees, and we’re thrilled that this has hit home with Jatin and Jyoti. Our recipe for success includes our delicious food, dedicated franchisees and Awesome model, and we can’t wait for our newest franchisees to experience this success firsthand with their location.”

With aggressive development efforts underway, Pizza Factory is actively growing and seeking multi-unit operators to develop nationwide.
