First 100 guests to receive Free Ice Cream For a Year

PEORIA, AZ, April 21, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ - Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is continuing its expansion in Arizona thanks to existing franchise partners Joe and Victoria Maher. The new Park West Handel's is located at 9784 W. Northern Ave., #1235, Peoria, AZ. The store will be hosting a weekend-long grand opening celebration starting Thursday, April 27, 2023. The first 100 guests to visit on April 27 will receive Free Ice Cream For a Year, plus the winning and fun will continue through Saturday, April 29, 2023.

The Park West Handel's marks the second location for the Mahers, who also own the Surprise, AZ store. The couple first experienced Handel's during a family vacation to California. They were so impressed with the products and went back to Arizona wanting to open their own store. They opened the Surprise Handel's in May 2020 during the pandemic, but with the remarkable support of their friends, family, and community, they broke company records during their opening. They even had to receive an emergency shipment of products because they were going through it so quickly.

"We are thrilled to open our second location and bring the fun-filled flavors that are made fresh daily to even more people in our state. The following is the grand opening celebration lineup for the Park West Handel's.

Thursday, April 27: First 100 guests to receive Free Ice Cream For a Year, Guests will also enjoy drawings for more prizes.
Friday, April 28: Raffle to win Free four scoop samplers for a year that will be announced on Instagram Live.
Saturday, April 29: Pictures with Elsa and Spider-Man from 11 am-1 pm. Plus, giveaways, and more!

In addition to Joe and Victoria Maher leading the new Park West Handel's, their son-in-law Tage Backus will serve as the store manager. The Mahers have four children and five grandchildren.

The Park West Handel's is a walk-up location with tables, shaded areas, and a splash pad to entertain customers while enjoying their favorite ice cream. The store will feature local flavors, including Black Cherry, Buckeye, Coffee Chocolate Chip, Graham Central Station, Oree-Dough, Salty Caramel Truffle, and more. The location will also offer pickup, delivery, and catering.

The Park West Handel's will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
