O’Charley’s Announces “Give $5, Get $5” Fundraiser To Support Families of Our Country’s Fallen Heroes

May 1 through July 4, Donations Benefit The Folded Flag Foundation; Nashville-area Collections Benefit Families of Ft. Campbell Soldiers Who Died on March 29

May 09, 2023 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE - O’Charley’s Restaurant + Bar, announced today the return of its “Give $5, Get $5” fundraiser to benefit The Folded Flag Foundation, the non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to families of our country’s fallen heroes.

From Military Appreciation Month (May) through Independence Day, each guest who donates $5 during their online order will get $5 off that same order. Importantly, 100% of all Folded Flag donations go directly to beneficiaries, as all administrative costs are paid by corporate sponsors.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to raise money and awareness for the Folded Flag Foundation and their incredibly important work,” said Craig Barber, O’Charley’s CEO. “Every year, we are humbled by the support we receive from our guests and we expect this year will be no different.

As a special tribute, O’Charley’s will honor and support the families of the nine Fort Campbell soldiers who died in the March 29 Black Hawk helicopter crash by dedicating the “Give $5, Get $5” funds raised in Nashville and Clarksville, Tenn., to a Folded Flag scholarship expressly for a Ft. Campbell family.

“Our long-standing relationship with O’Charley’s is so vital to our overall mission,” said Kim Frank, president, The Folded Flag Foundation. “This annual fundraiser is just one way they help us maximize our impact for these deserving families. We look forward to another strong campaign and can’t thank O’Charley’s along with their customers enough for their generosity and support.”
