One of The Camp’s First Franchise Partners Expands Reach Within Community

May 17, 2023 // Franchising.com // RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Camp Transformation Center (TCTC) is thrilled to announce The Camp Riverside East is now open in Riverside, California.

The Camp Riverside East is franchise partner Erik Salgado’s second location. He opened The Camp’s first franchise location - The Camp Riverside in December 2011.

Salgado has been involved with The Camp Transformation Center since its beginning. He met the founders in 2009, about the time they came up with the idea for The Camp. “I saw what they were trying to do, how they wanted to build a fitness community - not just a gym - and I was all in,” explains Salgado.

As he grew his business, he helped develop programs to help people throughout The Camp’s network. In the meantime, The Camp Riverside has been voted Best Health Club by numerous organizations, including Inland Empire Magazine, Press Enterprise, and IE Hotlist.

“Our team is very passionate about helping people feel better and live their best life. Our goal with the new location is the same as our first: Empower our community through health and fitness,” says Salgado.

The Camp Transformation Center was born out of the realization that despite universal knowledge of how to lose weight - eat healthier and work out regularly - millions of people still struggle to get results. During an era of skyrocketing obesity, The Camp created a proven system to help this massively underserved audience achieve their goals. Home of the “42 Day Transformation Program,” The Camp Transformation Center’s flagship program consists of group training with dynamic interval workouts, nutrition and supplement plans, highly qualified trainers, and a ton of positive emotional support.

“I am so happy to see a second Camp location open in Riverside,” says TCTC Co-founder Alejandra Font. “Erick has been with us so long, he’s like one of the family. With him running things, I know the second Riverside location will be just as successful as the first.”

The Camp Riverside East is located at 8735 Trautwein Road in Riverside, California, in the Orangecrest neighborhood.
