Black Bear Diner Opens in Federal Way Following Extensive Interior Remodel

June 07, 2023 // Franchising.com // REDDING, Calif. - Black Bear Diner, one of the fastest-growing restaurant franchises in the country, famous for its home-style comfort foods and unique dining experience, today announced the Federal Way diner has re-opened after an extensive remodel.

Family-dining restaurant brand, Black Bear Diner, will officially reopen its doors today, June 6th, in Federal Way at 6am PST. The franchised diner is owned and operated by franchisee Danny Banwait. The reopening follows extensive remodeling for an enhanced guest experience, which the location has undergone to update the over 50-year-old building, and will feature all new equipment, booths, lighting, signs, and restrooms, as well as HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical.

The restaurant will be open Sunday - Thursday from 6am - 9pm, and Friday - Saturday from 6am - 10pm, with a total seating capacity of 150, including a 40-seat meeting room.

Following the June 6th opening, from June 9th until June 12th Black Bear Diner will host its Grand Opening, with the diner’s official ribbon cutting ceremony set for 1:00pm PST on June 9th. During this time, the diner will be randomly giving away t-shirts and hats to guests that post a picture or comment about the re-opening.
