Smalls Sliders® Continues Colorado Expansion with New Johnstown Can

October 02, 2026 // Franchising.com // JOHNSTOWN, Colo. – Johnstown, it’s time to slide thru as Smalls Sliders prepares to officially open its second Can in the state. Located at 4781 Thompson Pkwy & Eisenhower in Johnstown, the fast-growing cheeseburger slider brand will celebrate its grand opening on Oct. 2 at 10 a.m.

To celebrate the opening, the Johnstown Can will give away 100 pairs of Smalls Sliders slides, available in various sizes while supplies last. Quantities of each size will be limited and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event will also include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and recognize Boys & Girls Clubs of Weld County as the Can’s Smalls Town Hero with a check presentation. The organization supports kids and teens through after-school and summer programming focused on academics, leadership, mental and physical health, and healthy lifestyles, while also providing nutritious meals and snacks to help address food insecurity among local youth and families.

The Johnstown Can builds on Smalls Sliders’ Colorado debut earlier this year in Northglenn and marks the next step in the brand’s expansion with Mountain Sliders and franchisee partners Nick and Alix Ralls. The group is continuing to grow its footprint across the state, with an additional Can planned for Green Valley Ranch.

Mountain Sliders introduced Smalls Sliders to Colorado with the opening of its Northglenn Can in January. Johnstown represents the second location in the group’s multi-unit development plans and expands its presence into Northern Colorado as the team works toward its next opening in Green Valley Ranch.
