While development of the breakfast menu has been a key goal for the masterminds behind the zesty Steak & Egg Burrito(TM), hearty Breakfast Burger(TM) and mouthwatering Loaded Breakfast Burrito(TM), it had been a while since a breakfast sandwich had fanned the flames of pre-lunch desire. The hearty-yet-delicate croissant and sausage pairing kindles enthusiasm for even the most discerning of breakfast goers.
"Developing the breakfast menu at Carl's Jr. has been a key emphasis for us over the past few years -- and it shows. We've now got an impressive line-up of early-morning offerings and we don't even carry English muffins," said Brad Haley, executive vice president of marketing. The Smoked Sausage Breakfast Sandwich is available during breakfast hours and sells for $2.39 at most company-owned restaurants. A combo meal includes coffee and hash brown nuggets and sells for $3.89. Pricing may vary.
