CarePatrol Acquires Biggest Franchise Competitor, Assisted Transition

February 06, 2014 // Franchising.com // Gilbert, AZ - CarePatrol Franchise Systems, LLC is proud to announce that they have acquired their biggest franchise competitor, Assisted Transition. During the next 6 months, CarePatrol will convert an estimated 60 franchises into the CarePatrol system which will give CarePatrol approximately 150 franchises by the end of the year. CarePatrol is known as putting the "person touch" back into the assisted living placement industry.

CarePatrol CEO, Chuck Bongiovanni explains "We made this purchase because we believe that there needs to be changes in the placement industry. Our goal is to raise the standards of this industry so seniors and their families don’t have to settle for a telephone call and an email to find a quality assisted living services. The excellent service providers in the nation deserve a better service delivery system so they can concentrate on what they do best, giving quality care, not chasing leads of questionable quality."

Bongiovanni, a social worker by trade stated that "CarePatrol uses the Social Work model in our service delivery with our clients. Our clients are never "leads", they are families and families deserve choices, services and a friendly hand to hold or a shoulder to lean on. You can’t get that through technology." For example, CarePatrol’s client phone calls are all answered by Master Level Social Workers rather than the typical "call center" employee. Franchisees must receive their national certification as a Certified Senior Advisor in order to maintain their franchise license.
