Marina Del Rey, CA (PRWEB) March 03, 2014 - Jaime Riegel proudly announces the successful grand opening of Pet Sit Pros of Santa Monica and Marina del Rey, a dream come true for Riegel, the owner.

Jaime Riegel grew up with many pets, including dogs, frogs, hamsters, fish and geckos. As a child, she hoped to be a veterinarian but after the passing of her first dog, due to brain cancer, she decided she couldn’t deal with the pain of seeing sick and injured pets as a career. She instead followed a career path into the film industry. While in film school, she took a marketing class where she was tasked with creating a full business plan for something non-film related. Riegel chose to come up with a pet care business plan. As a result, she not only got an A, but decided that day that she would open her own pet sitting & dog walking business eventually.

After a few years working in the film industry and being a pet sitter on the side, Riegel realized it was time to make the career switch. She met with Pet Sit Pros founder, Jay Goldfischer, and accepted the role of managing Pet Sit Pros Long Beach and heading up the launch of Pet Sit Pros Huntington Beach. Under her guidance, Pet Sit Pros was labeled "Best Petting Service of the Year" by LGBT Long Beach for 2013, as well as "Dog Walkers of the Year" by The Best of Huntington Beach. Goldfischer stated, "Jaime’s experience managing an award-winning pet care company made her the ideal candidate to own her own Pet Sit Pros franchise."

Riegel chose to purchase a Pet Sit Pros franchise rather than start a new business from scratch. She said "becoming a Pet Sit Pros franchisee lets me skip many of the costly mistakes and investments that it would take to build a successful high-tech pet sitting and dog walking business on my own. Pet Sit Pros has already built a successful business model that I know works because I helped create it!" Riegel can now focus her attention 100% on providing top notch in home pet care and award winning customer service while the Goldfischer has already taken care of the rest.

Riegel launched her grand opening in February 2014 and within one week of opening, she has already received several phone and email inquiries about her award-winning pet care services. When asked about what makes her business different from others, she responded, "when I leave town, I want to know how my furry babies are happy and healthy and in the care of somebody who loves them. When I care for my client’s pets I love and care for them like my own. I stay in constant communication via phone, text and email with their parents so they know their furry kids are getting the best care available."
