Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery Eyes Atlantic Coast for Expansion

Nationwide Pub & Eatery to Introduce More than 20 New Pubs in Three Years

TEMPE, Ariz. - February 25, 2015 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery, a sports bar that pays homage to the old public houses of America, England, Scotland and Ireland, is pleased to announce the addition of more than 20 new pubs along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts in the next three to five years.

The new pubs will open under the leadership of business partners Dan Allen and Sean Cahill, Tilted Kilt Area Developers and multi-unit franchisees. There are already nine pubs in different stages of development in the Northern Virginia, Baltimore and Washington D.C. regions slated to open by the end of 2016. The newest East Coast pub is slated to open in Chesapeake, Va. in April, 2015 and will be situated at 4200 Portsmouth Boulevard. Additional pubs in the area slated to open by the end 2015 include Dulles, Va., Wheaton, Md. and Annapolis, Md.

"With an intimate knowledge of both the Tilted Kilt brand and the landscape of the entertainment restaurant and pub industry along the Eastern Seaboard, our development team is primed and poised to grow in the region," said Allen. "With open territories across the Atlantic Coast from Delaware to Florida, we are chomping at the bit to find local community and business leaders to bring this growing entertainment restaurant to their town."

Targeted development markets in which Allen and Cahill, along with other Area Developers, are actively seeking franchise partners include South Carolina, North Carolina, and Central and Northern Florida - specifically areas with a strong focus on tourism that are close to the Atlantic or Gulf Coast. South Carolina and North Carolina can hold an additional three pubs each, while Central and Northern Florida can hold four additional pubs. Tilted Kilt is also looking to open one pub each in Atlanta, Fayetteville, N.C., and Richmond, Va.

"Every region of the East Coast is chalk-full of different tourist and vacation spots. Tilted Kilt is prepared to become the best dining option for full-time residents, vacationers and southern snowbirds to enjoy an incredible atmosphere and a cold beer," said Mark Hanby, Vice President of Franchise Development. "I am confident in Dan and Sean’s ability to grow the Tilted Kilt brand, expanding our footprint throughout key markets along the East Coast."

With more than 100 locations open across the United States and Canada, Tilted Kilt boasts sexy servers, classic Celtic décor, traditional pub fare and sports all under one roof. Combined with pool tables, dart boards and large plasma TVs, Tilted Kilt is the best place to watch sports and hang out with friends all in an atmosphere that is fun and entertaining.
