 Ted Torres, CHA., is CEO of Caerus Hospitality Partners. Thanks to his family legacy, Ted is a lifelong hotelier. He has built, owned, operated, renovated, repositioned and consulted on numerous hospitality projects during his 25 years of professional experience. Prior to joining Caerus, Ted was the CEO of International Hospitality Development Alliances, a Scottsdale, Arizona based hospitality company. His responsibilities encompass managing the asset performance and strategic direction of each hospitality property, selecting each and every site for future development, identifying market opportunities, and instituting proprietary practices that lead to exceptional individual hotel performance, while fostering a high level of quality exceeding each hotel franchise's brand standard. A recognized industry leader, Mr. Torres has developed and fostered relationships with senior executives at well recognized hotel companies such as Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Intercontinental, and Wyndham. Prior to IHDA, he served as Vice President Hospitality Division for Phoenix based Namwest, LLC; President and Chief Executive Officer of TT Hospitality and Development, Ltd. and as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Wharf Enterprises. All three companies are independently owned hotel management, development and investment firms located in the Phoenix metro area. Mr. Torres serves on the advisory board to Multi Unit Franchising, is a guest speaker at that conference, a Certified Hospitality Administrator - the hospitality industry's highest professional designation - and a member of the American Hotel Lodging Association. Ted has written numerous articles in hospitality industry publications, and has served as an expert witness. He is active in industry and civic organizations, having served on boards for both, and is an accomplished athlete, having played collegiate tennis at Arizona State University.
