Roni Deutch Tax Centers Awards First Two Franchise Locations

First Franchisee Eager to Pioneer New Concept with Mission of Competent Tax Preparation

Sacramento, CA – Just one month after the nation's "Tax Lady" launched a franchise opportunity carrying her popular name brand, Roni Deutch, America's most recognized tax attorney who operates the largest Tax Resolution Law Firm in the country, announced she has awarded the first two Roni Deutch Tax Center franchises to a prominent California home builder, who will open two locations in Sacramento later this summer.

Gary Starbuck, well-known in Sacramento business circles having owned and operated his own construction company in Granite Bay, CA for more than 30 years, as well as building some of the most luxurious and affluent homes in the area, said he was attracted to the franchise opportunity based on its mission of "preventive medicine for tax liability" – helping millions of people avoid costly mistakes they would otherwise have to spend years paying for.

After helping tens of thousands of people resolve millions in IRS debt over the past 16 years through her California-based tax attorney firm, Deutch announced the launch of Roni Deutch Tax Centers earlier in 2007 to provide Americans with competent, professional tax return preparation, and to offer a recession-resistant business opportunity to entrepreneurs seeking a piece of the booming tax preparation industry.

The first Roni Deutch Tax Center, a corporate location opened by Deutch in June 2006 in Fair Oaks, CA, has already prepared more than 6,000 tax returns. Also, through a strategic alliance, Deutch operates an additional six Roni Deutch Tax Center units with kiosks inside Money Mart® / Loan Mart® check cashing and payday loan locations in Sacramento. Potential franchisees will have the opportunity to service Money Mart/Loan Mart customers, in addition to their storefront Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise. Money Mart/Loan Mart is the second largest network of retail financial services stores in the United States.

Every Roni Deutch Tax Center will be open for three and a half months from early January through April 15. Franchisees will undergo an 11-day training course at the Roni Deutch Tax Centers corporate office in Sacramento, where they will learn to complete and file tax returns. During the other nine months of the year, the franchise is required to only be open one day a week.

"A franchisee like Mr. Starbuck will have the potential of earning an entire year's salary in as little as three and half months," Deutch said. "Based on my model, it's realistic that franchisees can process 350 returns in their first year, gradually working their way up to 1,000 by year five.
