EntryPoint of Temecula Brings Glitter to the Golden State

TEMECULA, Calif. – Tom and Lori Zakucia have only been in California a scant seven months, but they're ready to start helping homeowners add a touch of originality to their homes and raise the value.

"I've always held the belief that your home is a reflection of you," says Tom Zakucia, a Detroit transplant. "And I am looking forward to showing Temecula and surrounding residents that they can get a pretty good reflection at an affordable price."

EntryPoint is a revolutionary concept in home improvement, offering stunning decorative doorglass to upgrade entryways and increase curb appeal. The glass is inserted directly into existing doors in only about an hour; and since the existing doorway is left undisturbed, repainting or reconstruction work is generally unnecessary.

According to recent research from the National Home Valuation Study, via a survey conducted by the NFO WorldGroup, consumers placed a higher value—up to six percent—on homes with upgraded entryways. On a $300,000 home, that's $18,000. Very important in today's tough real estate market.

The Zakucias got a firsthand look at EntryPoint's doorglass while visiting Lori's parents in The Villages, Florida. They stopped by the local EntryPoint by Perrys (a 2007 IFA Franchise of the Year recipient) and got to know a lot more about the company. Having had skills as a millworker doing cabinetry, crown molding and related work for his former company, Distinctive Designs, Tom knew owning and operating an EntryPoint franchise would be a natural progression.

Moving to California was also a natural progression: Tom, Lori and their two children wanted to find a family-oriented community that was a little warmer than Michigan. The family looked at Las Vegas, Mission Viejo, Palm Springs, San Diego and Carlsbad before settling in Temecula. It is the first and only EntryPoint franchise in the state, and Tom and Lori say they are happy to serve anyone within an hour's drive.

EntryPoint of Temecula will boast a 1,100-square-foot showroom with a "housefront model" to showcase the finished glass. There will also be an area for kids to play in while parents shop. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for July 26 beginning at 11 AM at 29073 Overland Drive, Suite J. Their phone number is 951-699-4191.
