Aaron Rents, Inc. Acquires Prime Time Rentals Stores
ATLANTA, Oct 02, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Aaron Rents, Inc. (NYSE: RNT), the nation's leader in the sales and lease ownership, specialty retailing and rental of residential and office furniture, consumer electronics and home appliances and accessories, today announced that it has acquired all of the stores of Prime Time Rentals.
Prime Time Rentals has 33 stores located in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and West Virginia. Approximately one-half of the stores will be operated as Aaron's Sales & Lease Ownership stores. The lease agreements of the other stores will be merged into existing Aaron's stores.
Aaron Rents, Inc., based in Atlanta, currently has more than 1,470 Company- operated and franchised stores in 48 states and Canada for the rental and sale of residential and office furniture, accessories, consumer electronics and household appliances.
