Big O Tires Awards $14,000 in Scholarships
November 06, 2007 // Franchising.com // - Big O Tires, Inc., together with the Big O Tires Scholarship Fund, has announced that 11 college students were recently awarded scholarships. Two individuals were awarded $2,500 each and nine received $1,000 each. Students receiving scholarships are attending colleges in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kentucky, New Jersey and Utah.
"The Big O Tires Scholarship Fund receives donations into the fund from Big O Tires, Inc., its franchisees and individuals employed with the company," said Susan Hendee, Big O Tires' General Counsel and Big O Tires Scholarship Fund President. "We appreciate the generosity of those who provide the funds to help finance some of the educational expenses of the scholarship recipients and we congratulate those who were awarded the scholarships."
