Battery Giant Ranked 77th in Largest Nationwide Survey of Its Kind

Today, as a result of its high scores in a recent regional survey by WorkplaceDynamics, Interstate Batteries has been recognized nationally as one of America’s Top Workplaces.

Interstate is ranked 77th nationwide among 872 organizations of 1,000 employees or more that participated in regional Top Workplaces surveys. The National Top Workplaces (www.topworkplaces.com) rankings are determined solely by feedback gathered through an objective employee survey.

The survey uses a proprietary set of 22 questions to rank companies. The results of the survey indicate that employees most want to work at companies with high levels of organizational health. Companies that set a clear direction for their future, execute well and bring real meaning to work are the healthiest, according to the study.

The survey also revealed that, above all, employees valued being emotionally brought into what the organization is striving to achieve, a high-performance culture, and feeling they are appreciated and doing something meaningful. Organizations that scored well on these areas are considered “healthy.”
