Rhythm Time Announces Arrival of New Toddler and Baby Music Classes in Central London

Central London will now benefit from Rhythm Time's toddler and baby music classes, as the latest franchisee in Notting Hill joins the award-winning children's music franchise organisation.

Solihull, West Midlands (PRWEB UK) 6 March 2013 - Rhythm Time is proud to announce that its latest franchisee to join the successful children’s music franchise group will be providing educational toddler and baby music classes in Central London.

Katerina Moumtzoglou will be launching her Rhythm Time music classes in Notting Hill, Chiswick and St John’s Wood in April 2013.

Having worked in the banking industry at senior level for seven years, she then launched her own interior design business and online furniture shop. “As a first time mum, I took my baby son to various activities and found that baby music classes were the ones in which he thrived the most (and the ones I loved the most). I saw first-hand how important music is in supporting children’s development, so decided to introduce Rhythm Time to my own local area in Notting Hill,” says Katerina.

“I was really impressed with the quality and structure of Rhythm Time’s classes, and how the children absolutely loved it,” she adds.

Owner and founder, Kathy Doolan started Rhythm Time in 1995 and after a highly successful first five years, sold her first children’s music franchise in 2000. That franchise is now one of many award winning, highly successful businesses within the company, and is also one of the largest. Rhythm Time now has 36 music franchises across the UK, and continues to attract talented, musical individuals who want to invest in this quality organisation.

In each music franchise, Rhythm Time’s unique set of music courses have been specifically written by Kathy (graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow, and previously Head of Music at a Scottish school). They were created to help every child’s development and are aimed at different age groups, specifically: baby music classes (from birth to 14 months),music classes for toddlers (15 months to 3 years), and music classes for pre-school (3 – 5 years). Kathy is a strong advocate of music being crucial in helping to develop a child’s confidence, creativity and co-ordination from an early age and this forms a key element in all the classes.

Rhythm Time now operates in over 200 different premises throughout the UK, helping more than 10,000 children a week to enjoy an early start to the benefits of music. It is an established company offering exceptional opportunities to those wanting to invest in a successful children’s music franchise.

Katerina will be running free class demonstrations in Notting Hill on Monday 15th April, St John’s Wood/Maida Vale on Thursday 18th April and Chiswick on Friday 19th April. About Rhythm Time

Rhythm Time was started in Solihull in 1995 by Kathy Doolan. After a very successful five years, Kathy decided to franchise the business in 2000.

Rhythm Time now has franchises all over the UK, operating in 200 areas with over 10,000 children attending classes.

Katerina Moumtzoglou was previously vice president of Debt Capital Markets and Derivatives Sales at Deutsche Bank. After 7 years, she decided to launch her own interior design company. She started a family and bought a Rhythm Time franchise as it fitted around her family commitments and it provided excellent developmental benefits to young children through music. Katerina starts her classes in Notting Hill, Chiswick and St John’s Wood/Maida Vale in April 2013.

Rhythm Time offers three age-appropriate classes for babies (birth to 14 months), toddlers (15 months to three years) and pre-school (three to school age).

Children come to Rhythm Time as tiny babies and progress to toddler and pre-school classes, enjoying a wonderful introduction to music.

All the courses have been created by Kathy, who trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow.

Kathy previously was head of music in a Scottish school and shares with all franchisees and teachers a real passion and belief in the importance of music during a child’s formative years.

Kathy is a strong believer that singing unaccompanied helps to develop a child’s speech and language from an early age and this forms a key element in all the classes.
