Twin Peaks to Unveil Scenic Views in Pacific Northwest and the Great Lakes

Ultimate man-cave concept signs agreement with Pirate Booty, LLC to open in Idaho and Wisconsin.

September 03, 2013 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – Twin Peaks Restaurants today announced a development agreement to open the concept’s first restaurants in the Pacific Northwest and in the state of Wisconsin.

Pirate Booty, LLC signed a multi-unit agreement to open a Twin Peaks in Boise, Idaho along with two restaurants in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area.

The group is led by restaurant veteran Dave Schmille who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. He spent 14 years as a member of the Brinker International team where he held several leadership positions across multiple brands, including Chief Operating Officer at Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Currently, Schmille is a franchisee of Dallas-based Fish City Grill restaurants in Texas and Arkansas.

“The Northwest is unchartered territory for Twin Peaks,” said Schmille. “Boise is the perfect place to introduce the concept because there’s really nothing else like it in the area. Guests at sports restaurants want an updated experience and that means more televisions, great food and a fun atmosphere which is exactly what Twin Peaks provides.”

The Boise restaurant is currently being outfitted for a fall debut and is slated to open in late September. Schmille is also currently scouting locations around Milwaukee for the group’s first Twin Peaks in the state with plans to open for business as early as next spring.

“Twin Peaks is expanding at a tremendous pace across the country and we wanted to be a part of that growth in multiple locales,” added Schmille. “We’ll be Wisconsin’s first introduction to the Twin Peaks brand and I think it’s going to be a really great fit for the Milwaukee area.”

With 42 locations open in 18 states, Twin Peaks is a sports-themed restaurant known for its rugged mountain lodge atmosphere, homemade comfort food, 29-degree draft beer, high-definition televisions and – its signature assets – the Twin Peaks Girls.

“Being from Dallas, I’ve kept tabs on Twin Peaks since they first got started in Lewisville, Texas,” said Schmille. “I’ve always thought the concept was brilliant and the restaurants are constantly packed with people, so after looking into it I just knew that now was the right time to get in on the fun.”
