January 09, 2014 // Franchising.com // Eye Level (www.myeyelevel.com), the global leader in self-directed learning, announced today the opening of its newest center in Yuba City, CA with local franchisee, Sabita Kondle, as part of a 10-unit development agreement in the Sacramento area.
A seasoned education franchise veteran and former Kumon franchisee, Kondle joined the Eye Level team earlier this year to help increase the quality of education and forge a new path for students in the area.
"Over the past decade, our public education system has been declining, and I’ve received numerous requests from parents for supplemental and enrichment programs that offer a customized learning experience," said Kondle. "Eye Level’s approach has a proven success rate in students around the world, and I’m excited to introduce the learning philosophy to the region and reinforce a love for learning in students."
Kondle plans to open eight additional locations throughout the region in Sacramento, Elk Grove, Stockton, Rocklin, Tracy, Natomas, Folsom and Davis over the course of the next four years.
Built on an educational philosophy and learning method where self-directed learning, individualized academic coaching, and critical thinking are at the core, Eye Level provides a customized learning experience. Offering both enrichment and remediation in math and English, Eye Level has proven results in improving academic progress and instilling lifelong learning in school-aged children.
Over the past several years, Eye Level has grown to more than 200 learning centers in 24 states throughout the U.S. and an additional 780 learning centers worldwide, and consistently – on an annual basis – has been named on Entrepreneur Magazine’s Franchise 500 List. Eye Level is also a member of the International Franchise Association (IFA) and VetFran, and offers single and multi-unit franchise opportunities.
