COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - June 16, 2014 – On Thursday, June 19, Dutch Bros. Coffee is giving away free drinks all day, from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., at its new location at 624 S. 21 St. in Colorado Springs.
All 16-oz. drinks will be free, including specialty coffee, smoothies, freezes and our private-label, Blue Rebel TM energy drink.
Rita and Travis Pickern are the new local owners of the Dutch Bros. Colorado Springs locations. "We are thrilled to be joining the Colorado Springs community," said Rita.
This will be the fourth Dutch Bros. location in Colorado Springs. The new location will be open 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
"We're really excited to see how we can be an impact on the community and our employees," said Rita. "We want to be able to help our employees reach their goals, whatever those may be."
In addition, on Thursday, June 26 the new location at 624 S. 21 St., will be donating proceeds from the day to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Southern Colorado. To encourage participation, everyone who buys a large drink that day will receive a loyalty card filled with nine of the ten stamps so they can enjoy a free drink from Dutch Bros. on a future visit.
Since Dutch Bros. Colorado Springs opened their first stand in 2008, they have given back thousands of dollars to local causes, including Springs Rescue Mission, United Way of Pikes Peak, Springs Rescue Mission, The Home Front Cares, Aurora Victim Relief Fund, Air Academy High School and Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Dutch Bros. Colorado Springs employs nearly 50 upbeat baristas.
