Longtime Teacher & Administrator Opens Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Abingdon

Second Baltimore Area Location Serves Up $2 Sandwiches & Barbecue Giveaways

October 13, 2014 // Franchising.com // ABINGDON, Md. - Mark Buzminsky spent over 20 years as a teacher and school administrator for Harford County Public Schools. He was ready for a change when he discovered Dickey's Barbecue Pit. On Thursday, October 16 at 11 a.m., Buzminsky will open Dickey's Barbecue in Abingdon with a three day grand opening celebration. The first 50 dine in guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.

On Friday guests get a chance to score when Dickey's Barbecue Pit offers all day merchandise giveaways. On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., guests can stop by for a barbecue deal with $2 pulled pork barbecue sandwiches and an appearance by radio station Today's 101.9. One lucky winner will be chosen for a $500 gift card and three winners will receive free barbecue for an entire year.
