DEERFIELD, Ill. - October 23, 2014 - (BUSINESS WIRE) - BAB Systems, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB), announced the opening of its newest Big Apple Bagels, located at 2049 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Lafayette, Indiana. Big Apple Bagels has had a loyal customer following in Lafayette dating back to 1997. The current franchisee, "Shi Guys LLC," took over the Lafayette operation in 2012 at its original location about two miles away. Shortly thereafter they decided to relocate the business, aiming for an updated atmosphere and fresh new experience for their customers. Early results indicate the new location is being well received by the local Big Apple Bagels fans who are happy to have their store back after a longer than expected construction period.

Big Apple Bagels® has amassed loyal customers nationwide for its made-from-scratch bagels and its My Favorite Muffin® unique cake-like muffins. No longer just a breakfast destination, the menu at the cozy and comfortable bakery café also includes house-made cream cheese spreads, a broad assortment of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, Brewster’s® specialty coffee, and a catering program for business and residential customers.
