January 12, 2015 // Franchising.com // MT. PLEASANT, S.C. – Wild Wing Cafe has struck a chord with experienced restaurant operators in all corners of the country. Today, the brand that lives by the motto "Hot Wings, Cold Beer, Good Times," announced it has signed a multi-unit development deal with a Georgia-based restaurant franchise investment group to open four new units in Dunwoody, McDonough, Kennesaw and Marietta.
"I couldn't be more excited about the development of our four new restaurants," said Bipin Changela, who has partnered with Tiku Shroff to open the four new Wild Wing Cafe locations in Dunwoody, McDonough, Kennesaw and Marietta. "As we considered additional concepts to bring to the Greater Atlanta area, Wild Wing Cafe hit on everything we were looking for in a restaurant – outstanding food and drinks, and a venue that captures all the senses. I am looking forward to having the community come and see what Wild Wing is all about."
The four new restaurants will be joining the 10 existing locations in Georgia. Nationally, the brand has 37 locations based throughout the Southeast and Texas.
Wild Wing Cafe has built its rock-solid reputation for being the liveliest neighborhood hangout throughout the United States with its blend of award-winning menu items and extraordinary musical entertainment. These unique differentiators captured the attention of Changela and Shroff who couldn't resist the opportunity to grow the concept throughout the region.
"Wild Wing Cafe is in a class unto itself," added Shroff, who currently owns and operates three existing units in Statesboro, Alpharetta and Macon, GA. "The brand's award winning food and drinks, music and inviting atmosphere are unmatched. I'm excited to give these communities a place to let loose and spend time with close family and friends."
In addition to these four new units, an additional three Wild Wing Cafe restaurants are slated to open in Columbus, Newnan and Peachtree City, GA in the next four years. The forthcoming locations reflect the brand's innovative, new restaurant prototype.
"Tiku and Bipin have shown how passionate they are about our brand," expressed Tom Lewison, CEO and president of Wild Wing Cafe. "Our loyal fans, our employees, our franchisees, all of our stakeholders want to immerse themselves in more of Wild Wing Cafe. Over the years the brand has become infectious and irresistible. I am confident this group of seasoned restaurateurs will carry on this tradition."
Wild Wing Cafe's well-crafted franchise growth plans include adding nearly 70 new restaurants during the next five years. The company projects reaching 100 units by 2018, with a focus on opening in select U.S. markets adjacent to current southeastern U.S. operations.
Fresh, made-from-scratch wings and homemade sauces are at the heart of Wild Wing Cafe's menu. However, it's the menu's variety, which includes specialties such as half-pound Angus Steakhouse Burgers, salads and Wild Wraps, that keeps customers coming back. And, the Wild Wing Cafe music scene bolsters the brand's connection to the communities it serves with events such as "Last Band Standing," "WingStock" and "The Wild Wing Voice Off," among others.

Founded in 1990 in Hilton Head, S.C., Wild Wing Cafe began as a single restaurant that featured the homemade wild wing recipes of its two founders Cecil and Dianne Crowley. As the good times and great food grew in popularity within the Hilton Head community, the Crowleys expanded the brand, eventually offering franchise opportunities. In 2012, Axum Capital Partners, purchased the then 32-unit chain (37 currently), and has implemented an enhanced growth strategy for select U.S. markets.
Today, Wild Wing Cafe operates in seven southeastern states and is an unquestioned leader within its category in food quality, drinks (an extensive beer list) and its electrifying ambiance. Music is at the core of the brand's personality, with nightly entertainment and regular band competitions.
