Newest Brightway Agency Owner’s Unique Background Sets Her Up for Success

Nikki Hawkins opening newest Jacksonville-area Brightway Agency March 16

March 12, 2015 // Franchising.com // JACKSONVILLE, FLA. – Nikki Hawkins will combine her years of insurance company claims handling and her insurance legal expertise as she serves the insurance needs of her Jacksonville and Orange Park neighbors at her new Brightway agency. Located at 1560 Wells Road, Suite 2, the office will be open and ready to sell peace of mind on Monday, March 16.

Brightway, The Hawkins Agency brings the number of Brightway agencies serving consumers in Northeast Florida to 28.

“While working in insurance claims and legal, I can recall countless situations in which my clients did not have the coverage that they needed or didn’t understand their coverages,” Hawkins said. “I became an agent so I could help my clients gain a better understanding of their coverages and to provide them the coverages that they truly need in order to be protected.”

Hawkins is an active member the Jacksonville Bar Association, San Jose Catholic School Home and School Board, and the Naval community; she’s married to Chief Warrant Officer Chris Hawkins who is currently stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville.

Hawkins is a Certified Toastmaster with Toastmasters International, has her claims education designation through the Insurance Institute of America, and is in the process of completing her CPCU designation. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and the Florida Coastal School of Law.

“In choosing my office location, I wanted to make it as easy as possible for my Orange Park family and my NAS family to stop by, so I’m in the heart of Orange Park,” Hawkins said. “And, even though I’m in Orange Park, I am licensed—and eager—to write insurance throughout the state of Florida.”
