The brand recently presented the winners of the first “Home Team Hospitality” contest, St. Felicitas School in San Leandro, Calif., with a custom scoreboard to replace the broken equipment in their school gymnasium. Thanks to the new scoreboard, the program – which serves approximately 400 children in the local community – can recommence hosting home games instead of paying fees to play in local gyms.

A panel of four judges will choose one finalist from each of eight regions based on the description provided and the uniqueness of their reason for seeking support from Baymont Inn & Suites. Fans will then have the chance to vote for one of eight regional finalists in this year’s contest from May 25, 2015, to June 8, 2015, on the brand’s website. The team that receives the most votes will be awarded the grand prize, while runners up will each receive $2,500 and 200,000 Wyndham Rewards points.
