Entrepreneur Turns Painful Life Experiences into Business Inspiration

After living through many hardships and major reconstructive surgery, Ron Brendahl is looking forward to making a difference with Caring Transitions Southeast Michigan

Howell, MI (PRWEB) March 31, 2015 - Ron Brendahl has lived an extremely rough life and now he’s looking forward to helping others have happier days through his new business, Caring Transitions of Southeast Michigan.

Caring Transitions is America’s largest resource specializing in managing relocations for seniors and busy families, as well as downsizing and estate liquidations. In addition to the organizing, packing and move oversight, Caring Transitions can handle on-site and online estate sales, liquidations, and preparing homes for market. Caring Transitions of Southeast Michigan serves Howell, Fenton, Holly, Highland, Commerce, Milford, New Hudson and the surrounding areas.

Brendahl knows what it’s like to weather hardship. When he was young, his first love and pregnant fiancé died in a car crash, which made working in an office unbearable. After going into trucking, he met the woman he would later marry and the two of them spent more than 30 years as business owners and trucking professionals. In 2004 however, his wife was diagnosed with the pancreatic cancer that would claim her life the following year. Over the next four years Brendahl lost both of his parents, his livelihood in the automotive transit business and his home. When things finally started looking up in 2010, he was almost nearly killed when equipment he was loading onto a trailer fell off and crushed him. He was brought back to life three times and faced major spinal reconstructive surgery, which made trucking impossible.

“They honestly didn’t think I’d ever be able to walk again. Some days are better than others, but I’m here, I’m alive and I’m walking. I can’t do the work I’ve done all my life and I can’t do any of the hobbies I’ve loved, so I decided it was time to find something I would love as a career that would allow me to make a difference in the lives of others while having the flexibility a 9 to 5 can’t offer. Caring Transitions fits those goals and meets a true need in this community,” Brendahl said.

Whether your situation is planned or unexpected, Caring Transitions’ services are perfect for busy families, seniors moving in with family or into a safer living situation, or families clearing out the home of a loved one who has passed. Caring Transitions is a trusted and highly respected national company leading the way in senior relocation, household liquidations and estate sale management in more than 150 locations across the United States.

“I’ve moved many times over the years, I’ve had to downsize when I might not have wanted to, and I’ve been left with the emotional and physical aftermath of burying my loved ones. I want to use my experience and the heartache that I’ve been through to make transitions better for my clients. Moving, downsizing and liquidating estates can be extremely challenging on many levels. Caring Transitions can take on that burden so you can spend time with your family,” Brendahl said.

He added that it’s his experience that makes him a valuable partner for those who are faced with a difficult move of estate liquidation.

“This business is about me helping my neighbors to cope and get through a challenging time. If that includes sitting down to talk about what they are going through outside of what they’re doing with Caring Transitions, then that’s what I want to do. People need to know someone who understands is here to listen,” he said. “I’ve been through a lot in my life and I want to spend the rest of my years making a positive difference for others.”

Brendahl is a Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist, a designation bestowed by an independent organization that evaluates providers of senior relocation services. Caring Transitions of Southeast Michigan is bonded and insured.
