Wichita Entrepreneur to Open FirstLight Home Care Location

National non-medical home care provider announces plan to expand to Wichita area.

January 17, 2017 // Franchising.com // WICHITA, Kan. - FirstLight Home Care, an award-winning provider of non-medical home care, has selected Wichita, Kansas as its newest location. FirstLight Home Care of Wichita is scheduled to open in February 2017 and will be owned and operated by Wichita resident and entrepreneur Amal Hayyeh.

The new FirstLight Home Care office will serve local families by providing non-medical home care services for older adults, as well as people with disabilities; those recovering from illness, injury or surgery; new mothers; and anyone who may need assistance managing activities where they live. Non-medical home care is the fastest-growing healthcare segment, with 40 percent growth expected between now and 2020.

FirstLight Home Care of Wichita will serve residents of Wichita and surrounding communities including ?Augusta, Andover, Bel Aire, Benton, Clearwater, Derby, Goddard, Hays, Haysville, Kechi, Maize, Mulvane, Newtown, Park City, Rose Hill, Towanda and Valley Center, as well as Hutchinson. The location is recruiting compassionate, experienced individuals for an anticipated 10 full- and part-time caregiver and office positions.
